The Bloom Effect

Breathe In by Frou Frou

Purpose:  Sharing with others how to face fear and denial with utter faith and self-love.

When I am feeling called to, I plop on the headphones and sit in front of my computer at a coffee shop or cafe (inspirational favorite spots with WiFi: see Feed Your Spirit), while playing my Marathon Playlists on shuffle.  I trust the first song to play will be the energy needed to cultivate the message for that day.  As I wait for the song to get started, a surge of excitement hits me in my stomach and in my heart, similar to an adrenaline rush.  I write only what I feel called to write, through the inspiration of the melody and its lyrics.  As soon as I am lost in the typing and writing quicker than I can hear what to write, I change the settings to repeat and channel this energy the entire time until it begins to diminish.  When the energy is completely released, I reread what has been written and trust that the meat of the quick write was created by the spirit and energy of that particular song.

The lyrics and melody play a large role in what I feel called to write.  At times it can be a bit overwhelming, but I do my best to spit out the words at the rate of each inspiration from the song, hitting as many signs I feel coming from the song as I can.  The same applies for editing.  The goal of these messages is to be completely raw and genuine.  The song is played on repeat while I reread, fix errors, and restructure sentences.  I believe that if I play a different song, the message is quickly conflicted with a new one; therefore, each entry’s message belongs to its own song.

I trust that I am not the only one who is to benefit from these messages and I believe they will initiate the same bloom effect that I have been hit with.  It is an overwhelmingly, amazing feeling to follow your heart and so, here is mine, right before your eyes.

Always Blooming,

Diane
